TECHNOLOGIES USED FOR DATA COLLECTION

Our customers, including web publishers and advertisers, may use cookies, action tags, web beacons, and/or GIFs to collect information when you are visiting their websites. The collection, use and disclosure of information by Customer Sites is governed by the privacy policies and practices of the Customer Sites and their operators; Epiphany does not control and shall have no liability for such policies and practices. On the Site and Customer Sites, Epiphany uses different types of technologies to collect Anonymous Information about users, including cookies, action tags, web beacons, and single pixel GIFs. Cookies are small text files that your web browser leaves on your hard drive. Cookies recognize you as a repeat user of the Site or Customer Site and services and may allow Epiphany to track your online activities over time, including use of the Site or Customer Site and target advertising. This allows for personalization of certain aspects of your use of the Site or Customer Site and services. We may use cookies to store preferences, record session information, develop information about a user’s preferences and interests, record past activity at a website in order to provide better service when you return to the Site or Customer Site, or customize web page content based on information you voluntarily provide. This information may also be used for reporting, analytical, modeling and targeting purposes, and also to better manage ad campaigns and the user experience, for example, to manage the number of times a particular user is exposed to the same advertisement.

The video ads may include instrumentation tags that enable Epiphany to collect information about a person’s interaction with the ad for use in billing and analytical purposes. Epiphany may also make requests to multiple third-party data vendors for additional Anonymous Information that is used for targeting, analytic and reporting purposes.

Unless a user specifically provides their identity to us, e.g., by registering at our Site, providing information through an online form or sending us correspondence through the Site, we will not know the identification of individual users.

You have the ability to disable cookies using your Internet browser settings. Please consult your browser’s help function for information on how to disable cookies. Note that if you disable cookies, certain features may not function properly.
